This year continues to be bogged down in a complete lack of progress

I'm firmly entrenched in square one


On another problematic note, someone decided that they needed to screw and I over by reporting two of the chapters of our Dinaranger story and getting them deleted.

I was outraged because I was so sure that we'd managed to skate just under the line of going too explicit and breaking the rules... apparently not, but that's always the risk when you're doing a fan story based on a hentai manga series.
I'm still not convinced that we did actually break the rules, and given that we properly marked all the chapters as strict mature content, we should have been fine. ... and now I'm getting upset again. Best not.

So, the long and the short of that is we're going to have to find other places to upload the story to as well as here so we have that safety net. Any suggestions (other than furaffinity, which I would not join for love nor money) would be appreciated.

This is actually something I first came up with when I was about thirteen or fourteen but never had the audacity to put into practice before.

Consider the following notion. "The Power Rangers have already failed, they just don't know it yet"

The villains have already taken over the world and enslaved everyone, including the Power Rangers, but victory is boring, so they come up with a plan to keep themselves entertained.
The Power Rangers (and the people of Angel Grove) are reconditioned to think that they are the last humans standing.
Monsters and minions attack the city as in the show, and the Rangers have to fight them off. They think they're fighting a valiant struggle for the survival of the human race when they're little better than gladiator slaves in an arena.

But one of the Rangers starts to see through the illusion. Will she be able to cope with the truth? Will she be able to set humanity free, for real? Or is she doomed to repeat the same empty battles until she and everyone around her are discarded in favour of a new diversion?


I will be annoyed if someone points out "Oh, that's already been done" but I am building up to writing the story and/or drawing it as a full-on comic strip series.
Of course, and if it has been done, I'd like to see how the other person went about it, so don't be afraid of linking it if you know where there is an existing take on the concept

I'm not sure if I should blame or thank for introducing me to DinaRanger after I drew this pic.
 
Either way, it is safe to say that discovering DinaRanger was the final link in the "This story must be told!!!" chain.

Yes, I'm still around

I'd like to get things happening again soon.

Power Rangers Terra Force has two Ranger slots open and will hopefully be picking up properly in the next couple of weeks.

So, yeah, I'm back, I'm still hurting from surgery, but as long as we stick to the aftercare regime, everything should be fine


In other news, I hope to have some new art up this week, and maybe some photos of my Sailor Moon figures.

It may be a few more weeks before I'm able to do much writing though, so the wait for part 12 of Sailor Dolls is likely to continue a bit longer
Don't worry though, and I will finish it when we're both up to the task, and we have some other story ideas in the pipeline . Writing together is such fun

Merry Meet, my watchers.
It's been quite a while since I was anywhere close to regularly uploading things
I'm currently working on a little something, but I'm also in a story sort of mood

Writing my own fanfiction is always fun, but working on things together with is a whole higher level of joy.
For that reason, I am often disappointed in the comparative lack of response to the stories we wrote together.

Given 's status as primarily a writer and mine as primarily a visual artist, we took the decision four years ago that he would host the works we collaborated on. Though I do not regret that decision, I still wish people would show their appreciation for our hard work.

Most recently, we have been working on continuing the Sailor Dolls story.
